We are playing with data all the time. The texts we do, calls we make, browsing, playing games; in every way we are sending and receiving data all the time whether knowingly or unknowingly. We gather data when we store any information, does not matter if it is qualitative or quantitative. Now, this data plays a key role in converged networks. It is all about how the data is received, processed, stored and delivered to the user. The paths need to be secure, resilient and safe. There are several pieces of network architecture which are directly related to data and network convergence including hardware, software, protocols, servers, ethernet cables, fiber and wi-fi channels.
Defining the network convergence in terms of infrastructure leads to two ways; via ethernet channels or fiber cables. Both represent different methodologies of sending and receiving live data and information in modern networks. We know that these two technologies serve as a backbone of networks.
The broadband robustness and data availability are needed to be addressed by the network infrastructure. For this purpose, ‘Quality of Service’ systems are used for steady and sturdy data flow. Network convergence adds to the capabilities of the system like cataloguing the traffic types, high traffic control, congestion monitoring and avoidance and data bridging.
